All About ADHD Coaching

Partner With a Coach Who Gets It

Because I live it too.

Welcome to a space where your brilliant mind is not only understood but celebrated. As a certified ADHD coach and neurodivergent executive myself, I know what it’s like to live in a world that wasn’t built for your brain. ADHD Coaching with me isn’t about “fixing” you—it’s about unlocking the strengths that are already there and helping you thrive in work, school, relationships, and life.

A Safe Space to Build

Confidence, Strategy and Self-Trust

Whether you’ve just discovered your ADHD or have known for years, coaching provides a structured, creative, and compassionate space to explore how your brain works best. We’ll focus on what matters most to you—building systems, shifting mindsets, and creating momentum that aligns with your values and energy.

Together, we work on:

  • Understanding your unique neurodivergent wiring

  • Clarifying goals and finding your path forward

  • Strengthening executive function skills (like planning, organization, focus)

  • Reducing overwhelm and managing transitions

  • Creating sustainable routines and supportive environments

  • Celebrating wins, even the tiny ones

This isn’t one-size-fits-all coaching. It’s tailored, dynamic, and rooted in lived experience.

What Coaching Really Looks Like

And what it doesn't

ADHD coaching is not therapy, not counselling, and not a diagnostic service. We won’t be digging into your past trauma or analyzing your childhood. Instead, we focus on where you are now and where you want to go—together.

But make no mistake—this is not a passive process. I’m not just a good listener. I’m a certified ADHD coach, trained through an ICF-accredited program and deeply embedded in both the science and lived experience of neurodivergence. I also hold credentials as an Certified Executive coach, which means I bring structured tools, strategic insight, and results-oriented coaching to every session.

Here’s what that looks like in practice:

  • We set clear goals

  • We build routines and track progress with regular check-ins

  • We co-create strategies that work for your unique brain

  • We troubleshoot together when things get hard

  • I challenge you with kindness, offer real-time feedback, and celebrate your growth

Coaching with me is a dynamic thought partnership—you bring your lived experience, and I bring frameworks, tools, and clarity to help you move forward with intention.

Who I Work With

I work with children, teens, adults, professionals, and families. Many of my clients are navigating high-demand environments, leadership roles, or academic pressures and want to feel more in control, more capable, and more connected to who they really are.

I have a special focus on late-diagnosed women, female-identifying, and non-binary folks; but I coach all kinds of brilliant minds. If you're ready to do the work, I'm here to support you.

Is ADHD Coaching Effective?

Yes—powerfully so. Here are just some of the proven outcomes:

✅ Improved executive functioning and focus

✅ Increased productivity and follow-through

✅ Stronger self-awareness and emotional regulation

✅ More effective goal setting and achievement

✅ Boosted confidence and self-esteem

✅ Better relationships at home, school, or work

✅ Greater calm, clarity, and sense of control

Research and anecdotal evidence from clients and coaches consistently support these outcomes, highlighting the effectiveness of ADHD coaching in helping individuals lead more structured, productive, and fulfilling lives.

ADHD Coaching Coverage

ADHD coaching is not currently covered under provincial health plans in Canada (like Alberta Health Services or MSP in British Columbia). However, some extended health benefit plans may offer coverage under categories like:

  • health spending accounts

  • professional development, or

  • wellness allowances

It’s always a good idea to check with your provider. I’m happy to provide an invoice with appropriate details that may support your claim.

Many clients also choose to invest in coaching as a personal or professional development expense—because learning how to work with your brain instead of against it pays off in every part of your life.

For Business Owners & Professionals

If you’re self-employed or run your own business, ADHD coaching may qualify as a deductible business expense under professional development, training, or mental performance support. Check with your accountant to confirm how this applies to your situation.

For Corporate Clients

ADHD and Leadership Coaching—especially when tied to productivity, communication, and performance—can often be covered or reimbursed by employers. If you’re exploring this route, I can help you frame the conversation or provide documentation to support a funding request.

Confidentiality

Your coaching sessions are confidential and rooted in psychological safety. You can show up as your full self—messy thoughts, tangents, and all—without judgment. I follow the ICF Code of Ethics, and will only break confidentiality if there is a risk of harm or a legal obligation to do so.

Ready to Thrive?

If you’re curious about what’s possible when you learn to work with your brain instead of against it, let’s talk. You don’t need to do this alone—and you’re not “too much” or “not enough.” You’re brilliant. And you deserve support that sees that.

Leanne was able to help me look at my career and experience in a totally different light, question me in situations where I was settling for less than I deserved. She has the gentle ability to help you see your true potential. As a result of working with Leanne, I have been able to land an Executive Leadership role and feel very confident going into it because I have had someone who has helped me and encouraged me to believe in myself and go for it.
